Happy Little Stories
Effective 10 October 2026
The agreement between you and Happy Little Stories: who can use the service, how orders, payments and delivery work, and what you can do with your child's videos.
These terms are the agreement between you and Happy Little Stories (“we”, “us”) for using our website and buying our videos.
Our Refund, Cancellation and Delivery Policy is part of these terms, and our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
These terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. They are generated by a computer system and don't need a physical or digital signature.
To use our service, you must:
Children can't have an account or use the website. Our service is offered in India, with prices in Indian rupees.
We make personalised story videos that star a cartoon of your child, using the details and photo you give us. The videos are AI-generated and won't be 100% accurate (section 10). Every video is checked before it's released: an automatic check looks through each video, and any video it is unsure of waits for a person on our team.
The videos are delivered online, in My Videos, as unlisted YouTube links that only people with the link can watch. Nothing is posted to you. Most videos are ready within 24 to 48 hours of payment; the videos of one order can arrive at different times.
If a video isn't delivered within 7 days of payment, you can cancel it for a full refund. This is the only case in which we refund a video, as our Refund, Cancellation and Delivery Policy explains.
Our Refund, Cancellation and Delivery Policy explains how refunds work. In short: reading the stories is free, and you pay only when you approve them. Once you pay, production starts straight away, so an order can't be cancelled. We give a refund only if a video isn't delivered within 7 days of payment; there are no refunds for a change of mind or for how an AI-generated video turns out.
“Your content” means the photos, names and other details you give us. When you give us your content, you promise that:
You keep ownership of your content. You give us permission to use it only to provide the service: to make, check, deliver, store and fix your videos, and to keep the records the law requires. This permission ends when your content is deleted (see our Privacy Policy).
We will never use your content or your child's videos in our marketing, or show them publicly, without your separate written permission.
Your child's videos are made for your family. We give you a free, permanent licence to watch them and share them for personal, non-commercial purposes: with family and friends, and on your personal social media.
You may not sell them, use them in advertising or a business, or remove our name from them. Our characters (such as Tomato), artwork, music, voices, software and brand remain ours or our licensors'. Apart from your content, we own the rights in the stories and videos as far as the law gives anyone rights in them.
When using our service, you must not:
We may refuse or stop an order that breaks these rules. If we do, we refund the part of the price for videos we haven't delivered. Material that sexually exploits a child is reported to the police, as the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 requires.
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or any other law that can't be excluded (including your right to complain to the authorities), or limits our responsibility for negligence, fraud, wilful misconduct, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Apart from that:
If someone makes a claim against us because you gave us a photo or details you had no right to share, or because you deliberately broke the law or these terms, you will cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim. This doesn't apply to the extent we caused the loss ourselves.
We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, government orders, or major failures of the internet, power or a provider we rely on. We'll tell you, and do our best to limit the effect. Even then, you can cancel any video that isn't delivered within 7 days of payment for a full refund.
If something goes wrong, write to us; most problems are sorted out quickly. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours, with a copy of your complaint as we recorded it, and resolve it within one month of receiving it.

For orders, refunds, complaints and anything about your data.
If you are not satisfied, you can contact the National Consumer Helpline (call 1915, or visit consumerhelpline.gov.in) or file a complaint with a Consumer Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including online through the e-Jagriti portal. For privacy complaints, see section 12 of our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If we have a dispute, we'll first try to settle it together in good faith. Otherwise, the courts in India have jurisdiction. This doesn't affect your right as a consumer to complain to a Consumer Commission, including where you live or work.
We may update these terms, for example when the law or our service changes. We'll publish the new version here with a new effective date and, if a change matters to you, tell you by email or on the website before it applies. An order you have already paid for stays under the terms that applied when you paid.
